General Cancellation & Reschedule Notes

SalamAir tickets are essentially non-refundable to cash. A voluntary cancellation (allowed up to 48h before departure on Lite/Saver/Value, 24h on Flexi) returns the fare minus an ~OMR 25 penalty as SalamAir credit valid 4 months (named passenger only) — NOT to your card. Statutory taxes/fees on an unused ticket are refundable. A no-show forfeits the fare (check-in closes 60 minutes before departure).

Changes cost ~OMR 20 + fare difference up to 48 hours before departure (Lite/Saver/Value). Flexi includes one free modification up to 24 hours before; each additional change ~OMR 10 + fare difference.

Consumer protections: Statutory government taxes are typically refundable on request even for non-refundable fares. EU261 (for EU departures), US DOT rules (for US departures) and similar consumer-protection regulations may also apply to your booking.
